I really feel like songs from extra up to date musicals usually want the context to be unhappy.
You probably have seen the present or know the context, sure, “It’s Quiet Uptown” is unhappy. There are, after all, exceptions, just like the beforehand talked about “I’ll Cowl You (Reprise)”.
Personally for me the barrage of songs from the near-end of Enjoyable Dwelling—ranging from “Days and Days” all the way in which to the Finale—is difficult to high.
For songs that stand on their very own, “Inform Me on a Sunday” is an efficient one. (Additional unhappy if performed by a cello!)
