MUMBAI: Two teenaged boys drowned within the sea off Mumbai’s Marve seashore, a hearth brigade official mentioned on Monday.
Six boys from Azmi Nagar locality in Malvani space right here went for a stroll close to the Marve seashore round 5.30pm on Sunday following which they ventured into the waters, he mentioned.
Two of them went into the deep waters and bought swept away by the waves. The opposite 4 boys then alerted some locals who knowledgeable the police.
Later, the police and fireplace brigade personnel rushed to the spot and a rescue staff fished out the physique of a 13-year- old-boy round 8pm, the official mentioned.
The physique of the opposite 16-year-old boy was recovered on Monday morning, after the search operation was halted late Sunday evening as a result of darkness, he mentioned.
